Something a friend said :)

It was something a friend said in an email that got me thinking. She likes Philip as he is now and is a recent fan. While I've been a fan, as you know if you read 'The reason for it all', for 25 nearly 26 years. I've liked him since 'Sons and Daughters'; she a recent convert as 'La Cage Aux Folles' seemed to do it for her. And I wondered what makes a fan?? I've grown up always liking Philip and follow everything he does to a certain extent. Some may say obsessively (!) but it is just I've been at it for so long. I've got a lot of stuff!!! ;) It's like he has almost become part of the furniture. He is my comfy sofa :) And I like that! My mate, on the other hand, absolutely adores him. As do I but in a different way. And I thought that both our views are completely valid. It doesn't matter how long we've liked him, it's just that we do!!

I can't decide...

...and probably never will :)
