The Damnation of Harvey McHugh: Extend promo

I just love this. It's so quirky. It's just a pity you can't seem to get it on DVD. Philip Quast is brilliant as 'The Minister'. ABC tv please release this for us mere mortals :)

Final Days rehearsals in Oz for Poppins

Great news from the 'Philip Quast Guide'. The cast have now started final rehearsals, and moved into Her Majesty's Theatre. I've no doubt this will be a very busy period with previews just under three weeks away.

So please guys and gals, if you're in Oz and see any of the cast (especially Philip!); remember that it is a busy time and they may not have time to stop and chat. But always send them your best wishes. I'm sure that will mean a lot to them.

Douglas Hodge interview - American Theatre Wing

There is a lovely interview on this page with Douglas Hodge who starred with Philip Quast in 'La Cage aux Folles' here in the UK. There is also a downloadable link on the page for those of you who want to save the interview. The page itself explains more about what the interview is about.

Enjoy!! :)

H Side Story - Philip Quast teaching

Asked if I would put this up as a link on this site. Philip Quast is such a good teacher. He has done a lot of masterclasses in the UK and elsewhere. This gives you a little taste of what those classes are like :D

No Les Mis role for Philip in 25 Year Celebrations??

The casting for the 25th Anniversary concert at the O2 in October, has been announced. And the role for Javert is to be played by American Norm Lewis. It seems to me such a shame as Philip is singing better than ever, and it would have been nice to see Philip play the role at least one more time. I'm sorry Norm but no-one can touch Philip's take on this role, and his presence at the concert will be sorely missed.
