Mary Poppins - Sydney 2011

It seems as though 'Mary Poppins' will start earlier in Sydney next year than I thought. The show will be doing previews from Tuesday 19th April 2011. Tickets are now available at Ticketmaster Australia. Opening night is still the 6th of May. This does not give the cast, including Philip, much of a break as this will mean there is only two weeks between finishing in Melbourne and previews starting in Sydney!!! This is assuming that they actually are getting a break, as some rehearsal time must be slated for during this period.

Ticketek final release of MP tickets

Ticketek are now preselling Mary Poppins tickets for performances till the end of the run in Melbourne (1st April 2011). They go on general release to the public on Thursday 9th December.

The Devil's Double - Sundance Film Festival

So a prediction of a sort came true, that 'The Devil's Double' would be released around one of the main film festivals of early 2011.

So glad that we will finally get to see Philip play 'Saddam Hussein'. A role that I am, and am not looking forward too. I can just totally see him as Saddam, and I think it will be a groundbreaking performance. But for that reason it will also be a bit scaring to see the man we all admire, play someone we all hated.Conflicting emotions!!
